Earning Victory

Earne Sige is a command to both earn your victories and deserve them. This means, at the very least, not cheating; however, what constitutes cheating depends upon the systems and rules in place for achieving victory.

Lets take a small victory as an example: a young teenager purchasing a new video goame. Just because the victory was purchased with money does not automatically make it earned. Where did the money come from? If the money was stolen, it's dishonestly aquired, and the victory was not earned. If the money was gifted, then there was no victory in the purchase. If the money was earned, perhaps through mowing the yards of his neighbors, then I'd say the victory was well deserved.

A victory should generate pride. If it does not, then it either was not a true victory, or it was not earned, or perhaps both. Beware of false pride, feeling pride for something that took no effort and no sacrafice, or something earned through dishonest means, is not true pride and weakens, rather than strenghtening your life.
